The operations carried out by the CIA are kept top secret for many years but the agency documents what it investigates. This can be known through declassified files which have revealed that over the years CIA had a hand in creating fake porn tapes of world leaders, ‘demon dolls’ of Osama Bin Laden, recruited former Nazis to work on the space program and attempted to develop remote control dogs, the New York Post reported.

    Cold War Condoms

    In the 1950s, the CIA co-funded an operation to drop millions of anti-Communist pamphlets from weather balloons flying over Soviet-controlled Europe. At the time, one CIA agent made plans to have packets of extra-large condoms, labelled only “small" or “medium", dropped on Communist nations with the aim to reduce the morale of male citizens by suggesting that they were physically inferior to their well-endowed Western counterparts. Although the plan was never executed. 

    Osama Bin Laden’s ‘Demon Toy’

    The CIA made a plan to make a Osama Bin Laden figurine with a face that peeled off in the sun to reveal a devil. The agency wanted to distribute the demonic toys to children in the Middle East but when it was revealed in declassified documents in 2014, the CIA said that the plan was junked. 

    Blackmailing World Leaders

    From 1945 till approximately 1970s, the CIA ran covert operations targeting foreign leaders including Cuba’s Fidel Castro, Congo’s Patrice Lumumba, Dominican dictator Rafael Trujillo and President Ngo Dinh Diem of South Vietnam. The CIA even produced fake pornographic films to humiliate the leaders.

      Remote-Controlled Dogs

      The CIA created remote-controlled dogs by operating on their brains in 1963, as per declassified documents. At the time, researchers implanted a device inside the skulls of dogs and used a remote control to guide them through an open field. Using the device, the dogs were made to run, turn and stop but the experiments were eventually abandoned.
